What’s on in September

In Her Footsteps: Photography Exhibition

Gnome House will be hosting a photography exhibition in September, which is part of a major Heritage Lottery funded project called ‘In Her Footsteps.’

For over 150 years, women in East London have been making the world a better place – from suffragettes and Greenham Common, to climate campaigners and social media activists. Yet their achievements are often overshadowed by their male counterparts, or their stories lost completely. In Her Footsteps shines a light on these unsung heroes, giving them the recognition they deserve.

In Her Footsteps features the work of award winning photographer, Elizabeth Dalziel and has been curated by Share UK.

The exhibition will then run at Gnome House from 2nd to 30th September. Viewing is by appointment, Monday – Thursday from 10am – 2.00pm. Please contact Gnome House.
